Foot-and-Mouth and Brucellosis Vaccines Administered to Cattle in Şaphane

Veterinary teams in Kütahya's Şaphane district are continuing identification and vaccination efforts for cattle to protect the livestock population against foot-and-mouth disease and brucellosis.
Kütahya Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry announced that veterinarians within the Şaphane District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry carried out identification and vaccination activities for cattle in the village of Gürkuyu.
In field activities conducted with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, foot-and-mouth disease and brucellosis vaccines were administered to prevent possible epidemic diseases and protect the livestock population. The Provincial Directorate reported that the implemented preventive health measures are of critical importance for the sustainability of animal husbandry in the region.
