A tornado in Afyonkarahisar's Çay district damaged pipes and canals at the construction site of the ongoing Çay Selevir Irrigation Renewal Project.
A tornado occurred in the Kadıköy area of Afyonkarahisar's Çay district, lasting approximately 5 minutes. The natural phenomenon affected the construction site and surrounding areas of the Çay Selevir Irrigation Renewal 3rd Phase Project, which is currently underway.
The tornado caused damage to pipes laid for agricultural irrigation and a portion of the constructed canals. The tornado lost its intensity before reaching vehicles, and it was reported that the damaged sections will be repaired and renewed.
