The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has updated its list of counterfeit and adulterated foods, adding 21 olive oil brands to the list. The information was shared with the public under Law No. 5996 on Veterinary Services, Plant Health, Food, and Feed.
According to the Ministry's statement, the olive oils in question were included in the list on the grounds that seed oil was mixed into their content.
