According to a statement from the Kayseri Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, 74 projects have qualified for support under the Rural Development Investment Program within the province. The total investment cost for projects to be implemented in the city has been announced as 470 million TL. The total grant amount to be provided to producers within the program framework has been declared as 300 million TL. Grant support will be offered at rates varying between 50% and 70%, depending on the nature of the projects. These funds will strengthen the modern production infrastructure of farmers.
The results of the 2026 Rural Development Investment Program, announced by the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, have resonated widely across the country. According to the Ministry's data, a total of 11.3 billion TL in grant payments has been allocated to 3,180 projects nationwide. Through these grants, it is planned to operationalize agricultural investments totaling 19.5 billion lira in rural areas.
