Kazakhstan Bans Apple Imports Until End of 2026

Kazakhstan has imposed a ban on apple imports, including from Eurasian Economic Union countries, until December 31, 2026, as part of measures to protect domestic producers.
Kazakhstan's Ministry of Agriculture has temporarily banned apple imports into the country until December 31, 2026. The official decision, signed by Acting Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov and reported by AgroExpert, also covers apple shipments from member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
Transit transportation has been excluded from the implemented regulation. Apple transit between EAEU member countries will be permitted, provided Kazakhstan is not the final destination. Additionally, products whose export customs procedures were completed in their country of origin before the ban came into effect will be exempt from this restriction.
