The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry announced that applications for 2026 beekeeping support have started within the framework of agricultural support policies. Producers wishing to benefit from the support, which is carried out to ensure sustainability in the sector, must complete their applications by October 30, 2026. While beekeepers who are members of a union carry out their transactions through their respective unions, it is stipulated that breeders who are not members of any union must apply directly to the District Agriculture and Forestry Directorates.
Deadline for Hive Inspection
The timeline for on-site hive inspections, which constitute the fundamental stage of the support process in line with the provisions of the Beekeeping Regulation, has been clarified. According to the Ministry's statement, producers are required to complete their on-site hive inspection processes by October 31, 2026, at the latest. Officials emphasize that producers should complete their transactions early to avoid potential issues such as system congestion and loss of rights on the last days.
