Work on the Pedigree Heifer Breeding Center, implemented by the Ordu Metropolitan Municipality in Fatsa, is in its final stages, with the facility planned to support producers with an annual capacity of 750 head.
Ordu Metropolitan Municipality is approaching the final stages of complementary work at the Pedigree Heifer Breeding Center constructed in the Fatsa district. The facility, with a simultaneous capacity to house 250 head of cattle, aims to distribute the pedigree heifers raised within it to local producers.
Ordu Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler announced that the center's annual capacity is planned to be 750 head, with this figure set to increase to 1,000 head in the future. Güler noted that the facility will contribute to the regional economy and food supply security by operating in integration with slaughterhouse and packaging units.
