Season-End Expectations for Grain Harvest
According to data from the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, the country's grain harvest has reached 135 million tons by bunker weight. In a statement made by Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut, it was reported that the target for the total yield at the end of the season is 140 million tons. While the wheat harvest has completely concluded across the country, the corn harvest is continuing with positive yield figures. If the ministry's projections are realized, the production volume will be slightly lower than last year. It was noted that the unit area yield for the corn harvest is higher than last year.

Winter Planting and Production Statistics
Winter planting activities are ongoing in the country, and the anticipated reduction in area has not occurred, with activities remaining only about 200,000 hectares behind last year. According to Rosstat data, grain and pulse production in 2025 had increased by 12.1% to 141.2 million tons. In the same period, wheat production grew by 10.3% to 91.1 million tons. Minister Lut stated that planting is proceeding normally, and indicators from the field show that Russia is maintaining its critical position in the global grain market.
