TMO Disburses TRY 4.5 Billion to Producers

The Turkish Grain Board (TMO) has transferred a total of TRY 4 billion 567 million to producers' bank accounts as part of its 2026 crop purchases.

According to a statement released by the Turkish Grain Board (TMO), a total of TRY 4 billion 567 million has been transferred to producers' bank accounts as part of the 2026 crop purchases. Grains constituted the largest portion of these payments. TMO data indicates that producers were paid TRY 4 billion 40 million for grain products delivered between August 20-26. In the same period, TRY 288 million was paid for poppy capsules and seeds delivered between August 26-September 1, and TRY 239 million was paid for hazelnuts delivered between August 24-26.

The institution's announcement noted that crop payments are directly transferred to producers' bank accounts, with farmers being notified via SMS. TMO announced that the payment schedule for 2026 crop purchases will continue periodically in line with the established plan. Producers who delivered crops to the institution on different dates can check their bank accounts. According to the institution's statement, payments for new deliveries will also continue to be periodically transferred to producers' accounts.
