Gasoline Price Hike Reflected at the Pump

Fluctuations in exchange rates, movements in Brent crude oil prices, and Special Consumption Tax (SCT) increases are intensifying the pressure on fuel costs. As of August 11, 2026, a total of 2.08 TL was added to the liter price of gasoline. Thanks to the implemented equal-share tax system, 1.56 TL of this increase was directly reflected in the pump sales prices. This new price increase in fuel has become a focal point for producers, especially those closely monitoring input costs in agricultural production and transportation processes.
