The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has announced the certified seed subsidy amounts for the 2027 production year, with the aim of popularizing the use of quality seeds and increasing production power in strategic crops. With the regulation made, subsidy amounts for legume and oilseed products have been significantly increased.
According to the Ministry's statement, the per-decare support amount for chickpeas and vetch has been raised from 146.8 TL to 442 TL, marking a 201% increase. While support for lentils rose by 140.9% to 353.6 TL; the per-decare subsidy for soybeans and peanuts, previously 220.2 TL, was set at 442 TL, an increase of 100.7%.
