Kazakhstan's Grain Production Hits 15-Year High

Kazakhstan harvested 24.3 million tons of grain in the 2026 harvest season, marking one of the highest yields in the last 15 years. The quality and gluten content of the wheat harvested are also noteworthy.

Record Grain Production Levels

According to data from the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, a total of 24.3 million tons of grain were harvested across the country by the end of the 2026 harvest season. This yield has been announced as one of the highest production levels in the last 15 years. Compared to previously announced official figures, this level has only been surpassed in two exceptional record years in the past. The high yield signals a significant increase in supply that could directly impact the Central Asian grain market.
