As the harvest season nears its end, Çukobirlik has set seed cotton purchase prices, effective October 30, at up to 41.50 Turkish Lira per kilogram.
As the harvest season draws to a close, Çukobirlik has announced its seed cotton purchase prices, effective October 30. According to the statement made by the union, the purchase price for Standard 1 White Seed Cotton with a 42% yield has been set at 41.50 Turkish Lira per kilogram, while the purchase price for spotted cotton with a 42% yield is 40.50 Turkish Lira.
According to the announced price scales, a deduction of 1 Turkish Lira per kilogram will be made for every 1% loss in yield for Standard 1 white cotton. For spotted cotton, a price reduction of 1 Turkish Lira per kilogram will be applied for yields between 42% and 35%, and a reduction of 1.5 Turkish Lira per kilogram for yields between 35% and 28%.
