Millions Worth of Adulterated Oil Seized in Aydın Operation

During inspections in Aydın, tons of adulterated oil and olives with a market value of approximately 2 million Turkish Liras were seized, and administrative fines were imposed on 4 suspects.
Aydın Provincial Police Department's Security Branch teams conducted 4 separate operations targeting storage facilities as part of their inspections aimed at protecting consumer health and ensuring access to reliable food.
During the raids, 1 ton and 155 liters of unlabelled adulterated oil with a market value of approximately 2 million Turkish Liras, along with 2 tons and 677 kilograms of olives, were seized. According to police data, a total administrative fine of 1,177,669 Turkish Liras was imposed on 4 suspects identified as being connected to the products in question.
