The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has updated its list of counterfeit and adulterated foods following routine checks aimed at ensuring consumers' access to reliable food. The new list, dated September 23, 2026, and shared with the public within the framework of Law No. 5996 on Veterinary Services, Plant Health, Food and Feed, includes products found to be in violation of regulations as a result of inspections.

Following official laboratory examinations by the Ministry, it was determined that 'Sera Natural Bal' and 'Sera Bal' branded strained flower honeys, belonging to producers operating in the Bucak district of Burdur, were subject to counterfeiting and adulteration. These two products, which did not comply with standards, have been added to the public adulteration list.
