New Training Platform for Digitalization in Agriculture
Within the scope of the AgrInnovate ADİM Project, conducted under the leadership of the Izmir Agriculture Technology Center, an online training platform developed to enhance the digital transformation capacities of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and public institutions operating in the agriculture and food sectors has been made accessible. The project was brought to life through the partnership of Izmir Commodity Exchange, Yaşar University, Neohub Technology, İmecemobil, Izmir Development Agency, Software Industrialists Association, Turkish Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Association, and Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The prepared training infrastructure aims to popularize the effective use of digital technologies across the value chain, from agricultural production to marketing, and to enable sector stakeholders to adapt to technological innovations.

Smart Agriculture Technologies in Seven Modules
Touching upon the scope of the courses included in the platform's content, Ömer Gökhan Tuncer, Chairman of the Izmir Commodity Exchange, stated that the program consists of a total of 7 core modules and made the following assessment:

'The content presented under the headings of 'Digital Strategy and Corporate Transformation,' 'Smart Agriculture and Industry 4.0,' 'Artificial Intelligence and Agriculture,' 'Digital Marketing and New Generation Commerce,' 'Technology Development and Validation,' 'Commercialization and Ecosystem Building,' and 'Green Digitalization' combines theoretical knowledge with practical approaches. Within the program, participants will have the opportunity to learn about innovative applications such as the Internet of Things (IoT), sensor technologies, precision agriculture, automation, and AI-supported decision systems, while also gaining knowledge on digital marketing, e-commerce, business model development, access to investment sources, and commercialization processes.'
Sustainable Technology Integration from Field to Table
The aforementioned training portal has been structured to play a strategic role in increasing the productivity of agricultural enterprises and facilitating their transition to climate-friendly production practices. The goal is for producers and industry professionals to correctly utilize precision agriculture tools and artificial intelligence algorithms in the field. Through online tools, it is planned to reduce input costs in the supply chain from field to table, prevent resource waste, and accelerate the commercialization processes of domestic agricultural technology startups.
