100 Feed Grinding Machines Distributed to Producers in Çorum

Within the scope of rural development projects in Çorum, 100 feed grinding machines worth 5 million 170 thousand TL were delivered to producers in the Alaca and Ortaköy districts.
Feed Equipment Distribution in Two Districts
The Çorum Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry provided equipment support to producers in the Alaca and Ortaköy districts within the scope of the Turkey Resilient Landscape Integration Project. A total of 100 feed grinding machines, procured at a project cost of 5 million 170 thousand TL, were delivered to the beneficiaries. Within the framework of the project, 60 of the machines were given to producers in Alaca, and 40 to producers in Ortaköy. Distribution ceremonies were held with the participation of local administrators, chamber of agriculture representatives, and regional farmers.
70% Grant for Rural Production
In his statement at the ceremony, Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Hasan Taş shared the goals of strengthening rural development and production infrastructure. According to the information provided by Taş, 120 milking machines were provided to 120 producers within the scope of the 70% grant support implemented in 2025. In line with the same support program, 30 feed mixing machines were delivered to 30 producers, facilitating the input preparation for livestock operations with modern mechanization opportunities.
Ongoing Investments in Pasture Infrastructure
Drawing attention to pasture improvement and infrastructure enhancements, Taş reported that 6 animal shelters and 16 watering facilities were added to the pastures in 2025. Within the scope of the ongoing works, 16 more watering facilities were completed in 2026, and the construction of 10 animal shelters is continuing. Provincial Director Taş noted that investments that alleviate the labor of producers and increase operational efficiency will continue uninterrupted in 2027.
