Ministry Discusses Agricultural Insurance in Ankara

At a coordination meeting hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, 81 provincial directors and TARSİM management discussed producer demands and the future of agricultural insurance.
The Provincial Agriculture and Forestry Directors Coordination Meeting, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, was held in Ankara under the chairmanship of the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı. At the summit, attended by deputy ministers, general directors, and agriculture and forestry directors from 81 provinces; rural development investments, production planning, agricultural credits, and producer support were discussed.
In a special session held as part of the meeting, agricultural insurance and its field applications were comprehensively evaluated. At the gathering, where provincial directors conveyed producer demands and observations compiled from the field, TARSİM Board Member and General Manager of the Agricultural Insurance Pool Management, Bekir Engürülü, and participants held consultations regarding the future of the agricultural sector.
