Hailstorm in Bayburt's Eco-Village region caused damage to corn and vegetable fields; agricultural teams have begun damage assessment.
A hailstorm that affected the region in the evening hours in Bayburt caused damage to cultivated agricultural lands in the Eco-Village. Following the precipitation, numerous crops, including corn, beans, potatoes, cabbage, and zucchini, were damaged. A farmer producing in the region stated that 20 producers were affected by the hail.
As the precipitation lost its impact, teams from the Bayburt Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry were dispatched to the region. The teams have commenced damage assessment operations in the fields within the Eco-Village.
