600,000 Fingerlings Released into Kilis Ponds

As part of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's stocking project, 600,000 fingerlings raised in Şanlıurfa were introduced into Kilis's water resources.
A total of 600,000 fingerlings were released into the water resources of Kilis within the scope of the "Stocking of Water Resources Project" carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Carp, catfish, and shabout fingerlings, produced at the Şanlıurfa Atatürk Dam Aquaculture Production Facility, were brought to the city in special oxygenated tanks.
The operation, conducted under the supervision of engineers and veterinarians from the Kilis Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, aims to increase the fish population in the region, protect the sustainability of aquatic resources, and evaluate the local fishing potential.
