Denizli Provincial Directorate Added to Imported Food Controls

With a new regulation amendment published in the Official Gazette, the Denizli Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry has been included among the authorities empowered to conduct import inspections of food products.
A regulation amendment prepared by the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has been published in the Official Gazette and entered into force. Within the scope of the regulation, the list of authorized directorates in the official control processes carried out during the entry of agricultural products into the country has been updated.
Under the "Regulation on Customs Directorates Authorized for the Entry of Certain Products Subject to the Control of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and Provincial Directorates of Agriculture and Forestry Authorized to Conduct Official Controls," inspections of plant protection products, food, materials and substances in contact with food, and feed are carried out. With the latest amendment, the Denizli Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry has been added to the list of directorates authorized to conduct import controls for food products.
