Agricultural and Livestock Payments Increase with New Support Model

The new support model, updated with Presidential decrees, has announced the crop and livestock production coefficients and unit support amounts for the years 2026 and 2027.

Coefficient Increase in Crop Production

Significant regulations have been made with Presidential decrees within the scope of the new support model implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. According to the announced new decisions, the support coefficient value, previously applied at 310 TL per decare for the 2026 production year, has been increased to 367 TL. This update represents a 50.4% increase compared to 2025. To enable producers to see their future more clearly, the support coefficient value for the 2027 production year has been set at 442 TL.

Support Amounts for Strategic Products

Within the framework of production planning, the planned production support for lentil and chickpea production has been increased by 141% to 884 TL per decare. Thus, the total support for these products will reach 1,326 TL in 2027, up from 734 TL in 2026. For wheat, barley, and corn, the total basic and planned support is 954 TL for 2026 and 1,149 TL for 2027. For sunflower, beans, soybeans, and canola, this amount will be 1,101 TL in 2026 and 1,326 TL in 2027, while for cotton it is set at 1,652 TL for 2026 and 1,989 TL for 2027, and for potatoes, onions, and safflower groups, it is 734 TL for 2026 and 884 TL for 2027.

Certified Seeds and Consultancy

Comprehensive increases have also been made in certified seed usage support amounts to encourage quality and efficient production. In the 2027 production season, producers planting soybeans and peanuts will receive 442 TL per decare, 442 TL for chickpeas and vetch, and 353.6 TL for lentils as certified seed support. With the aim of strengthening the technical follow-up of agricultural production in the field, agricultural extension and consultancy support has also been increased by 40% by the Ministry to 483,630 TL.

Significant Increase in Livestock Payments

Unit prices for producers in livestock support for 2026 have been revised upwards. Basic calf support has been increased from 1,400 TL to 2,000 TL per animal, calf support from 2,800 TL to 4,000 TL, and basic lamb and kid support from 300 TL to 430 TL. Shepherd support, which concerns herd managers, has been increased from 81,000 TL to 116,100 TL. Support for beehives has increased from 140 TL to 250 TL for organized producers and from 100 TL to 200 TL for unorganized ones, silkworm support from 1,100 TL to 1,500 TL per kilogram, and mohair support has reached 220 TL from 160 TL.

Special Supports and Ministerial Statement

A 100% increase has been made in waste support, which includes losses due to contagious diseases, with payments of 20,000 TL for calves and calves, and 4,000 TL for lambs and kids. In the Strong Fattening project, an additional support of 1,000 TL per calf will be provided, 215 TL for lambs and kids born during migratory movement control, and 860 TL for females in disease-free herds. A 30-100% increase was made in aquaculture and a 60% increase in animal genetic resources. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, drawing attention to the planned production model, made the following statement:
