The Turkish Grain Board (TMO) has advanced its 2026/27 barley sales calendar to ensure stability in the feed market, opening applications for breeders and feed mills.
TMO Launches Barley Sales Program
The Turkish Grain Board (TMO) has officially announced the commencement of its 2026/27 season barley sales program as of September 17, 2026. The institution's statement indicated that the program aims to strengthen the domestic supply of feed raw materials following the 2026 grain harvest, facilitate access to feed ingredients for producers, and ensure market stability. The sales, which were brought forward from the originally planned October schedule, will initially benefit cattle and sheep breeders, as well as feed mills. Applications from breeders and producers will be accepted until September 30.
Sales Prices and Application Conditions
According to the price list published by TMO, the price for domestic and imported barley has been set at 14,000 Turkish Lira per ton.
