Current Fuel and Diesel Prices in Major Cities Clarified

Amid fluctuations in the oil market and foreign exchange rates, diesel prices in major cities are approaching the 78 lira per liter mark.
Current retail fuel prices have been clarified as of August 28, 2026, influenced by movements in Brent crude oil prices, foreign exchange rate volatility, and Special Consumption Tax (ÖTV) regulations. The price of diesel, which directly affects agricultural production and logistics costs, has been set at 77.43 TL per liter on the European side of Istanbul, 77.27 TL on the Asian side, 78.53 TL in Ankara, and 8.83 TL in Izmir.
Gasoline prices stand at 74.29 TL per liter on the European side of Istanbul and 74.13 TL on the Asian side; in Ankara, it is 75.26 TL, and in Izmir, 75.57 TL. Autogas (LPG) prices are reflected on station price boards at 33.19 TL to 33.79 TL in Istanbul, 33.89 TL in Ankara, and 33.79 TL in Izmir.
