TMO Disburses TL 6.3 Billion to Producers

The Turkish Grain Board (TMO) has transferred a total of 6 billion 342 million Turkish Lira to producers' accounts in exchange for received grains and poppy capsules.
According to a statement released by the Turkish Grain Board (TMO), payments for purchased grains and poppy capsules have been deposited into producers' accounts. TMO data indicates that TL 6.28 billion was paid for grains delivered during the August 13-19 period, and TL 62 million was paid for poppy capsules delivered between August 19-25.
Providing information on the process, the Turkish Grain Board stated:
'Producers whose payments have been processed are being notified via SMS. Payments will continue periodically. We wish you good and abundant harvests.'
