3 Tons of Olive Oil Seized in Bayrampaşa

Approximately 3 tons of olive oil with inactive business registration numbers were seized during inspections in Istanbul's Bayrampaşa district.
Teams from the Istanbul Bayrampaşa Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry detected olive oils with inactive business registration numbers in the Food Safety Information System (GGBS) during official inspections in September 2026.
Approximately 3 tons of olive oil, contained in 610 units of 5-liter packaging, were seized from warehouses and vehicles within the Bayrampaşa Mega Center Food Wholesalers complex. The Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry announced that administrative and legal processes are continuing for the products found to be non-compliant.
