Bucak Chamber of Agriculture Engineers Take to the Field for Producers

The Bucak Chamber of Agriculture, with its expert engineering team established with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, offers on-site technical consultancy and international grant support to producers.
The Bucak Chamber of Agriculture has implemented a new technical consultancy model to increase the productivity and production capacity of regional producers. This service, which is pioneering among chambers of agriculture in surrounding provinces, aims to provide farmers with access to modern agricultural techniques. In a statement made by the Chamber's management, it was announced that a comprehensive consultancy infrastructure has been established among similar professional organizations in surrounding provinces such as Antalya, Isparta, Denizli, and Afyonkarahisar, and that this will accelerate regional agriculture.
The established expert team includes Agricultural High Engineer Şeyma Özer and Agricultural Engineers Fadime Dağaşan and Güler Çelik. The expert team will provide technical consultancy in greenhouses and fields by establishing direct contact with farmers at every stage of plant production. On-site solutions will be developed for disease, pest, and nutrition problems encountered during the cultivation process. Thus, it is aimed for producers to adopt scientific and modern agricultural practices instead of traditional methods.
In addition to field consultancy, project activities will be carried out to facilitate farmers' access to finance. The Bucak Chamber of Agriculture will prepare European Union projects and international grant programs, ensuring that farmers benefit maximally from these funds. Through the projects to be prepared, producers will gain access not only to technical knowledge but also to the financial resources necessary for new investments. In this context, the follow-up of grant processes and project writing will be carried out by experts.
A large part of the consultancy staff's cost is covered by the financial support provided by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Serkan Karabağlı, Working Group Coordinator of the Ministry's Education and Publication Department, and Ministry personnel Nurettin Açıkgöz visited the chamber to inspect the work on-site. Bucak Chamber of Agriculture President Bilal Özel made the following statement:
