Applications Closing Soon for Agriculture and Forestry Photography Contest

Applications for the 16th International Agriculture, Forestry, and Human Photography Contest, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and DenizBank, will close on August 31. The results of the contest, with a total prize pool of 1,735,000 Turkish Lira, will be announced in the fall.
Application Deadline Approaching
The application process for the 16th International Agriculture, Forestry, and Human Photography Contest, organized by the Directorate of Education and Publications of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry with the support of DenizBank, is nearing its end. Submissions for the event, which aims to raise awareness about the strategic importance of soil, water, food, and forests, will close on August 31. The contest is held in a total of 6 different categories: General, Farmer, Student, Theme, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Employees, and DenizBank Employees.
Extensive Jury and Participation Criteria
Within the scope of the event, photographs on topics such as agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, aquatic products, food preservation, rural life, and the activities of farmers and shepherds will be evaluated. The selection committee includes Bülent Kahraman Çolakoğlu, Tuba Köseoğlu Okçu, Reha Bilir, Mehmet Arslan Güven, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cihan Şule Külük, Prof. Dr. Ozan Bilgiseren, Prof. Dr. Emre İkizler, Sabri Savcı, Serkan Turaç, Perihan Yücel, Aykut Ünlüpınar, as well as foreign artists Vladimir Jovanovski, Lu Ming, and Luis Jose Vigil Escalera.
Prize Distribution and Results Timeline
According to the Ministry's calendar, the contest results will be announced to the public between September 28 and October 28. The total cash prize amount to be presented to the successful participants has been determined as 1,735,000 Turkish Lira. Awards will be presented to the winning participants at an official ceremony, and the selected works will be exhibited to form a visual memory of agricultural production.
