Denizli Granted New Authority in Food Import Inspections

A regulatory amendment by the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry was published in the Official Gazette, adding Denizli to the list of authorized administrations for food control.
A regulatory amendment prepared by the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has been published in the Official Gazette and entered into force. The regulation defines the scope of authorized customs administrations and provincial directorates that will conduct official controls on the entry of certain products subject to ministry control into the country.
In line with the new regulation, the reliability inspections of plant protection products, food, materials and articles intended to come into contact with food, and feed have been reorganized. With the change made, Denizli Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry has been added among the authorized administrations that will carry out official import controls of food products.
