Ministry Transfers 4.1 Billion Lira in Agricultural Support to Accounts

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has started transferring support payments totaling 4 billion 108 million lira, largely from calf support, to producers' accounts.
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı announced that agricultural and animal husbandry support payments totaling 4 billion 108 million lira for producers have begun to be transferred to accounts. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı stated:
'We are transferring 4 billion 108 million lira in support payments to our farmers' accounts today. May it be auspicious and fruitful.'
According to data shared by the Ministry, the livestock sector received the largest share of the payments. Within this scope, 4 billion 51 million 204 thousand 220 lira was paid for calf support, and 45 million 810 thousand 800 lira for malak support, while 5 million 702 thousand 714 lira was allocated for basic plant production support and 5 million 288 thousand 204 lira for planned production support.
