In Antalya's Serik district, a fire that broke out in forest and agricultural lands rendered 5 homes and numerous greenhouses unusable.
A fire broke out in the forest and agricultural lands of the Deniztepesi and Sarıabalı neighborhoods in Antalya's Serik district during the night, for reasons yet to be determined. As flames spread to residential areas, some homes were evacuated. 5 homes and the greenhouses in the region became unusable, and 3 people affected by smoke were taken to the hospital.
While the driver was treated after being injured when a construction machine belonging to a private company overturned during firefighting efforts, teams are continuing their struggle to bring the flames under control with 12 fire engines, 4 fire trucks, and 6 water tankers.
