On-Site Biosecurity and Efficiency Inspection
Teams from the Uşak Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry conducted a comprehensive inspection and visit program to examine the on-site status of agricultural and livestock businesses operating across the city. During the inspections, which were attended by Provincial Director Serkan Bilir and technical personnel from provincial and district directorates, the current production capacities and working conditions of the businesses were examined in detail. The visits particularly focused on animal health, biosecurity standards, and efficiency-enhancing methods in production processes, with technical teams evaluating practical applications on the ground.
Ministry Support and Producer Demands
One of the most important stages of the field work consisted of one-on-one consultations with producers. Farmers and breeders had the opportunity to directly convey the structural problems they encountered in their production processes, their operational needs on the ground, and their demands to the provincial directorate officials. During the meetings, current agricultural support models implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and ongoing rural development projects were explained in detail to the producers, and solution proposals for the sustainability of their businesses were evaluated.
