Denizli Becomes Authorized Body for Product Import Controls

With a new regulation published in the Official Gazette, Denizli has been added to the list of authorized bodies responsible for official controls of food and agricultural products.
The relevant regulation amendment, prepared by the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force. The regulation covers official inspections for the safety of plant protection products, food, food contact materials, and feed.
According to the new regulation published, the Denizli Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry has also been included in the list of authorized bodies to carry out official controls of food products.
