Despite the storm in the Marmara Sea, bonito abundance continues in Tekirdağ markets, with the fish, sold at 100 TL per piece during the day, dropping to 75 TL in the evening.
Bonito maintained its affordable price on the stalls in the neighborhood markets of Tekirdağ's Süleymanpaşa district, despite fishermen being unable to go to sea for two days due to the storm in the Marmara Sea. The product, which reached the stalls in large quantities thanks to a fruitful season, attracted intense interest from consumers.
The price of bonito, sold at 100 TL per piece during the day in the market, was reduced to 75 TL in the evening hours to complete the sale of remaining products. Despite the adverse weather conditions, the abundance of products on the stalls was reflected in price reductions for consumers.
