Malatya Agriculture Fair Opens Doors After Seven Years

The 14th Malatya Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Fair has reunited producers and sector representatives after a 7-year hiatus.

Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Sami Er, accompanied by his wife Sevgi Er, visited the 14th Malatya Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Fair as it opened its doors. Er toured the stands in the organization area one by one, establishing direct contact with producers and agricultural stakeholders to gain detailed information about their projects. During the visit, company representative Mustafa Ayhan made an assessment regarding Mayor Sami Er:

The Directorate of Agricultural Services within the municipality offered traditional 'hedik' (boiled wheat and chickpeas) at the fairgrounds.

Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Sami Er emphasized that they are carrying out intensive work to heal the city's wounds after the February 6 earthquakes and that agricultural development is of vital importance in this process. Stating that the fair provides a lifeline for regional trade and production, Sami Er spoke about the continuation of the organization:
