Harvest season has commenced for over 134,000 vegetable seedlings distributed to 305 producers in Sinop under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's grant projects.
Vegetable Harvest Begins in Sinop
Seedlings were planted in Sinop within the scope of the Project for the Activation of Agricultural Lands and the Project for the Development of Vegetable Production, carried out by the General Directorate of Agricultural Production of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. A total of 134,410 vegetable seedlings were delivered to 305 producers with a 25% farmer contribution to increase agricultural production across the province. Following the successful completion of their growth stages, intensive harvesting efforts have begun in the fields.
Technical Support for Producers in the Field
Agricultural engineers within the Plant Production Branch of the Sinop Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry are closely monitoring the production process from day one. Expert teams, who regularly visit family farms in the field, provide technical guidance to farmers in the proper harvesting methods, quality control, and preparation for market stages. Officials announced that field support for local producers will continue uninterrupted to increase the vegetable production capacity in the province.
