Within the scope of a project coordinated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and TİGEM, 12,080 breeding cattle were distributed to 840 producers in Iğdır.

The 'Rural Prosperity Livestock Support' project, carried out by the General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises (TİGEM) in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, has provided a lifeline to producers in Iğdır. High-yield cattle, meticulously raised for over a year at the facilities of the Kazım Karabekir Agricultural Enterprise Directorate, have been brought together with farmers. Within the scope of meticulous work carried out according to TİGEM data, a total of 12,080 cattle were delivered to 840 producers operating in the city and surrounding villages.

Through the project, which aims to strengthen the livestock infrastructure in the region, a significant increase in meat and milk production yield is targeted. The distributed breeding quality cattle secure the economic sustainability of family businesses in the region while directly supporting local production. This support initiative, implemented in Iğdır, one of Eastern Anatolia's strategic agricultural centers, makes a significant contribution to accelerating rural development and strengthening farmers' market positions by increasing their production capacities.
