The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has initiated new support payments to strengthen agricultural production and alleviate producers' input costs. According to information shared with the public via the Ministry's official social media accounts, support for farmers across the entire production chain, from seed to harvest, continues with determination. Within this framework, a financing package totaling 67,793,972 lira has begun to be deposited directly into producers' bank accounts. Officials announced that these cash transfers will make a direct and strong contribution to the sustainability of agricultural activities in the field.
Distribution of Support Items
According to the financing data announced by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, rural development initiatives constituted the largest share of the total transferred resource. A total of 64,920,117 lira was allocated to producers within the scope of rural development investments. For planned forage crop production, which closely concerns the livestock and feed sectors, a resource of 2,873,855 lira was transferred to farmers. Thus, the 67.8 million lira budget, divided into two main categories, has been credited to accounts to support rural infrastructure and domestic feed production.
