TKDK Provides 75% Grants for Livestock Businesses

The Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution (TKDK) offers grants of up to 75% for the modernization and establishment of new livestock operations producing meat, milk, and eggs.

High Grant Support for Livestock Facilities

The Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution (TKDK) continues to strengthen livestock investments as part of its rural development initiative. According to information shared by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, grant financing of up to 75% is provided for agricultural enterprises producing meat, milk, and eggs. In his statement on the matter, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı called on producers, saying:

'Building a modern farm is not a dream. With TKDK's IPARD supports, we provide grants of up to 75% to our businesses producing meat, milk, and eggs.'

Broad Scope from Construction to Robotic Systems

The financial opportunities provided by the program allow businesses to establish their technological infrastructure from scratch or modernize their existing facilities. Veterinarian Emre Dağlı, working within the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, stated that businesses wishing to establish modern farms face high machinery and equipment costs, and that TKDK supports alleviate this burden. Dağlı noted that the support package covers an extremely wide inventory of machinery and equipment, ranging from new barn construction to milking robots, advanced ventilation systems, and feed mixing machines.

Tax Exemptions and Application Details

Significant tax exemptions are also granted to producers for the technological machinery and equipment to be procured within the scope of IPARD supports. Veterinarian Emre Dağlı emphasized that producers should move away from traditional methods and turn towards high-efficiency technological opportunities, recommending that the institution's official website be followed during the application process. The specified maximum support rate is not directly applied to every project; eligible investment items, scoring criteria, and application conditions must be examined in detail through the application guide published by the institution.
