Giresun Offers Subsurface Drip Irrigation Grants for Hazelnut Orchards

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will provide a 70% grant for subsurface drip irrigation investments to hazelnut producers in Giresun.
Within the scope of the Rural Development Investments Support Program implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, three producers in Giresun have signed grant agreements for subsurface drip irrigation projects. The project, which covers a total of 88.37 decares of hazelnut orchards, is targeted for completion within 75 days of the agreement signing.
Giresun Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, Mustafa Ensar Yılmaz, provided details about the project, stating:
