In the official statement, it was announced that the companies marketing chemicals that protect plants against pests, as well as fertilizers and nutrition products that increase efficiency, will be audited to determine whether they are violating legislation through information exchange.
During the investigation process, it is being investigated whether the companies shared product-specific prices, sales volumes, discount rates, and payment terms. The following statements were included in the institutional statement published by the Competition Authority regarding the issue:
