Erzurum Sees Heifer Distribution and Sectoral Review

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı attended a heifer delivery ceremony in Erzurum, inaugurated the red meat producers' enterprise, and met with sector representatives.
As part of his engagements in Erzurum, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı conducted on-site inspections of agricultural activities and projects underway in the city. In the first part of his program, Minister Yumaklı attended the opening of the Central Union of Turkish Red Meat Producers Economic Enterprise, and subsequently met with producers at the Heifer Delivery Ceremony held within the framework of the 'Rural Fertility Livestock Support Project'. Following the completion of the ceremonies, Yumaklı proceeded to the Erzurum Governorship, where he met with Governor Aydın Baruş and received a comprehensive briefing on the region's agricultural and forestry potential.
After the governorship program, Minister Yumaklı visited the Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality, where he consulted with Mayor Mehmet Sekmen on rural development and municipal works. Minister Yumaklı then proceeded to the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry building, met with institutional staff, and evaluated the status of ongoing agricultural activities across the province. The final stop of his visit marathon was the Erzurum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where Minister Yumaklı listened to the demands and suggestions of representatives from the agriculture and livestock sectors.
