İYİ Party Deputy Chairman and Manisa Deputy Şenol Sunat criticized the seedless dried raisin purchase prices announced by the Turkish Grain Board (TMO). Stating that he listened to the problems of producers in the field, Sunat addressed the TMO management and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry via his social media account. İYİ Party Deputy Chairman and Manisa Deputy Şenol Sunat expressed his reaction with the following words:
'Is this the price TMO deems fit for our Manisa producer?'

According to the data provided by Sunat, the production cost per kilogram of dried raisins is around 100 TL. Sunat criticized TMO's decision to set the purchase price at 100 TL/kg for the highest quality product, stating that the floor price of 85 TL/kg announced especially for No. 7 raisins will force producers to sell at a loss. Sunat emphasized that the relevant purchase prices must be urgently revised by the ministry to protect producer incomes.
