Field Inspection of Beekeeping and Corn Production in Hatay

Hatay Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry inspected bee health, quality honey production, and plant development in cornfields on-site in Antakya.
Hatay Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, Abdurrahman Türkmen, visited producers engaged in beekeeping and corn cultivation in the Antakya district at their production sites. During inspections at beekeeping operations, the general condition of bee colonies, production activities, and the progress of the season were discussed; evaluations were made on increasing efficiency, protecting bee health, and producing quality honey.
On corn- Sown lands, Türkmen also inspected plant development processes and listened to the producers' demands and suggestions in line with the goals of protecting plant health and sustainable agricultural production. The Provincial Directorate announced that efforts to support producers in the field and technical follow-up activities will continue uninterruptedly.
