Notification Mechanism Activated Against Technical Barriers in Exports

Exporters facing technical barriers such as packaging, quarantine, and certification in foreign markets can now directly report issues to the Ministry of Trade.
The Ministry of Trade announced that producers and exporters can report obstacles arising from technical regulations such as labeling, packaging, quarantine conditions, as well as testing and certification processes encountered when entering foreign markets, to the Directorate General of Product Safety and Inspection.
The Ministry of Trade stated that efforts and measures will continue against unnecessary restrictions imposed by foreign countries, making the following assessment in its official statement:
Taking the necessary measures to ensure that exports are not affected by technical barriers imposed by third countries is among our foreign trade policy priorities. Our primary goal is to prevent difficulties experienced in our exports as a result of practices by other countries that are contrary to international criteria.
