TMO Disburses TRY 10.7 Billion to Producers

The Turkish Grain Board (TMO) has transferred a total of TRY 10.67 billion to producers' bank accounts as payment for cereals and poppy seeds within the scope of the 2026 purchase campaign.
Cereal and Poppy Seed Purchase Payments
According to an official statement from the Turkish Grain Board (TMO), a total of TRY 10.67 billion in product payments has been transferred to producers within the scope of the 2026 agricultural purchase payments. Data shared by the institution indicates that TRY 10.635 billion was paid to producers for cereal products delivered between August 6-12, 2026. Additionally, it was reported that TRY 35 million was deposited into producer accounts in exchange for poppy seed capsules delivered between August 12-18, 2026.
Transfers to Accounts and Process
In its notification, TMO stated that all the aforementioned purchase payments were directly transferred to producers' bank accounts. Farmers who received payments were informed via SMS messages sent to their mobile phones. Institution officials noted that product payment disbursements for cereal and poppy seed purchases will continue periodically within the framework of the established schedule.
