844.5 Million Lira in Grants Paid Under IPARD in August

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry provided 844.5 million lira in grant support to producers and investors in August under the IPARD-III Program.
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı announced that 844.5 million lira in grant support payments were made to producers and investors in August under the IPARD-III Program. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı stated:
'Within the scope of our IPARD III Program, we made grant support payments of 844.5 million lira for the month of August. I hope these investments, which will grow our country's agricultural potential, will be beneficial to our sector.'
According to the Ministry's statement, 372 million 227 thousand lira was allocated to investments in the processing and marketing of agricultural and fishery products, and 352 million 355 thousand lira was allocated to projects targeting the physical assets of agricultural enterprises. Support of 93 million 733 thousand lira was provided for the diversification of farm activities and business development, and 26 million 207 thousand lira for the LEADER approach.
