· Tarım Pusulası

Fertilization and water infrastructure support has been provided in the 15,254-decare pasture area in Mersin's Erdemli district to increase productivity and grazing capacity.
Pasture Improvement and Management Project works have gained momentum in the 15,254-decare area located in Güzeloluk Neighborhood of Mersin's Erdemli district. Within the scope of the field activities carried out, a total of 10 tons of fertilizer was applied to 1,000 decares of pasture land this year. To ensure animals' access to clean drinking water, 20 water troughs were delivered to the breeders. The delivery of 20 plastic water pipes, each 1.5 inches in diameter and 200 meters long, was also fully completed to ensure uninterrupted water supply to the distributed troughs.

The future roadmap of the project, which aims to increase pasture productivity and enable producers to use resources more effectively, has become clear. In line with the planning, the distribution of 16 solar energy panels for use in the pasture is targeted for 2027. Following these efforts, the second phase of fertilization will be implemented in the pasture area in 2028. These investments, which strengthen livestock activities in the region, aim to sustainably protect pasture resources and increase grazing capacity.
