The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry provided a total of 844.5 million lira in grant support for rural development and agricultural enterprise projects in August under the IPARD III Program.
Major Support for Rural Development
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry continues its financial support for producers and investors within the scope of the IPARD-III Program. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı announced the August data, stating that they are continuing to develop rural areas. According to the Ministry's statement, a total of 844.5 million lira in grant payments were made during this period. Making evaluations on the process, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı stated:
'Within the scope of our IPARD III Program, we made a grant support payment of 844.5 million lira for August. I hope these investments, which will grow our country's agricultural potential, will be beneficial to our sector.'
Distribution of Sectoral Investments Announced
According to the details shared by the Ministry, the provided grants were distributed across various headings in rural areas. 372 million 227 thousand lira was allocated to investments related to the processing and marketing of agricultural and fishery products. While 352 million 355 thousand lira was provided as support for the physical assets of agricultural enterprises, 93 million 733 thousand lira in resources was provided for projects related to the diversification of farm activities and business development. Within the scope of implementing the LEADER approach and local development strategies, a grant support of 26 million 207 thousand lira was provided.
