Beehive Support Applications End Today

Producers must complete their applications for the 2026 beehive support program, managed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, by the end of business on Friday, October 30, to avoid losing their rights.

Last Business Day for Support Applications

The final application day has arrived for the 2026 beehive support process, managed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. To prevent producers nationwide from losing their rights, applications must be completed by the end of business on Friday, October 30, 2026. Beekeepers who have not yet finalized the process are required to personally apply to their respective producer organizations or Provincial Directorates of Agriculture and Forestry. Officials state that no new documents will be accepted after the deadline and the system will close at the end of business hours.

Base Payment Amounts Per Hive

The base payment coefficients in the support calendar announced by the Ministry have been differentiated according to the producers' organizational level. According to data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, beekeepers who are members of a beekeeping union will receive a base payment of 250 Turkish Lira per hive. For producers who are not registered with any producer union, the base support amount has been set at 200 Turkish Lira per hive. To benefit from the support, beehives must be registered in the system in accordance with technical specifications and administrative regulations.

Additional Support Criteria and Rates

In addition to the base support, additional premium payments are made at various rates to priority groups identified for the sector. According to the announcement by the Central Union of Turkish Beekeepers, an additional support of 100 Turkish Lira per hive is provided to female and young beekeepers. While 75 Turkish Lira per hive is allocated to producers engaged in migratory beekeeping, 50 Turkish Lira per hive is given to breeders who are members of first-degree agricultural organizations. A union member producer who meets all conditions can be eligible for a maximum support amount of 475 Turkish Lira per hive.

Calculation for 100-Hive Operations

Income items that a standard operation with one hundred beehives can obtain within the scope of the support model have been calculated. According to the criteria of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, a union member breeder with one hundred hives receives 25,000 Turkish Lira from the base support alone. For a producer with one hundred hives who is not a union member, a payment of 20,000 Turkish Lira is calculated within the framework of the base support. According to data from the Central Union of Turkish Beekeepers, the payment amount for a union member beekeeper who receives all additional supports rises to 47,500 Turkish Lira.

Application Channels According to Organizational Status

The official authority to which the application will be submitted varies depending on the producer's registered organizational structure. As announced by the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, member producers are obliged to submit their documents to the beekeepers' union they are affiliated with. Producers who are not union members personally apply to the Provincial Directorates of Agriculture and Forestry in the districts where their hives or records are located. It is stated that official confirmation that the transactions have been processed in the system must be obtained during the application.

AKS Data and Field Inspection

For the support to be actually credited to accounts, the data in the Beekeeping Registration System must be in full compliance with the physical situation. The number of beehives declared by producers in the system and the number of hives present at the operation are taken as the basis for inspections. The completion of hive inspection studies conducted in the field by the relevant agricultural directorates and unions forms the basis for payments. It is of great importance, especially for migratory beekeepers moving to different regions, to promptly process their accommodation and inspection reports into official records.

Final Checks for Producers to Make

It is recommended that producers check and get their application processes approved step-by-step before the end of business hours. Producers must first check their application status from their affiliated units and verify that they have gone to the correct institution. Examining the up-to-dateness of contact information and hive numbers in AKS records completely prevents additional loss of rights. Beekeepers who ensure that the conducted hive inspection reports have been approved must complete the official process of the day by obtaining the registration number of their application documents.
